Sweden: Freedom for Georges Abdallah!

Proletarian internationalists and sympathizers of the International Communist League have carried out an action outside the French embassy in Stockholm to support the Unified Campaign for the Liberation of Georges Ibrahim Abdallah (CupLGIA) in France. Speeches were made to lift Georges Abdallah’s struggle against the Zionist state of Israel and the reactionary French state and to demand that Georges Abdallah be released from his soon-to-be 40-year prison sentence on October 7.

Comrades, friends, activists. In October, we are approaching the day when Georges Ibrahim Abdallah will have spent 40 years in a French prison. What is his crime to deserve this prison sentence? What has he done to become the person who has been imprisoned the longest in all of Europe? Well, he fought for the freedom of his people, he fought against imperialism and against the genocidal Zionist state of Israel. He was convicted of fighting back an attack by the Zionist state that slaughtered thousands of civilians in a refugee camp in Lebanon.

They call him a criminal, murderer, terrorist, the same label imperialism and the Zionist state try to put on all Palestinians to justify genocide and settler policies. Georges Abdallah’s so-called “crime” is in fact a glorious act, it is an act of heroism, revolutionary glory and righteousness towards the Zionist state of Israel. It is right to rebel, and we always firmly adhere to that principle. All necessary means to annihilate the invader in Palestine are right and proper.

The French state is directly involved in the genocide against the Palestinians. They want to try to strike a moral blow against the armed national resistance of the Palestinian people by claiming that Georges Abdallah denounced the struggle and capitulated to the reactionary French state and the Zionist state of Israel. Georges Abdallah’s refusal to surrender is the reason why he continues to be imprisoned, here again he fulfills his heroic duty to the Palestinian people and the people of the whole world and refuses to give imperialism a single crumb. Imperialism trembles with fear in the face of the struggle of the Palestinian people, because it mobilizes masses not only in Palestine but all over the world. Georges Abdallah and the struggle of the Palestinian people inspire us all to develop our forces to reconstitute and constitute the Communist Parties to launch People’s War in the service of the world revolution.

We demand that Comrade Georges Ibrahim Abdallah will be released on October 7 this year, in accordance with the demands he and his representatives have presented, from the unjustified imprisonment that on October 25 this year will have lasted for 40 years. We strongly condemn the reactionary French state and their actions directly and indirectly against the armed national resistance of the Palestinian people through their support for the Israeli state and through their imprisonment of Georges Abdallah. We condemn and proclaim our class hatred against the fascist, Zionist and genocidal state of Israel and last but not least we express our wholehearted support for Georges Abdallah’s struggle in prison, the shining trench, all other political prisoners who fought for the liberation of the Palestinian people from the river to the sea and to the armed national resistance of the Palestinian people and all the warring fighters who face martyrdom every day in the service of Palestine’s victory against the invader!

Death to the invader! Long live the armed national resistance of the Palestinian people!
