Partizan cries “They shall not pass!” in Lyon
Avrupa Haber reports on the speech carried out by Partizan in the demonstration in Lyon after the attack against ACTIT and Young Struggle (YS). The demonstration was carried out under the slogan “no place for fascism!”.

In its speech, Partizan denounced the attack that ACTIT and YS suffered by the fascist organization, which in addition to attack the organizations physically, they stated that Paris is “Nazi”. But Partizan remembers: “Paris will never be Nazi! Paris is the city of the Commune, the resistance of the striking workers and the people’s uprisings, and it will remain like that! We crushed fascism once, we will crush it again!”
This is not the first attack of this kind, the Kurdish Cultural Center Ahmet Kaya was also attacked two years ago, were three people were killed. After that, they link the State with the unpunished fascist violence that repeats once again: “And the French State is once again trying to cover up those responsible. Interior Minister Mr. Retailleau wanted to blame Ülkü Ocakları and try to draw attention in another direction, but the French fascists who attacked our friends from Young Struggle” and “No doubt: Fascism is not an autonomous force. It is a weapon of the system against workers, against immigrants and revolutionaries. Fascism is the weapon of capitalism in crisis!”
Partizan also denounces that this attack in Paris is the reflection of the situation in Turkey “The attack in Paris is a reflection of the pressure on revolutionaries and anti-fascist fighters in Turkey! Our comrades in Turkey are imprisoned, tortured and killed. They were surveilled, threatened and hunted when they were in exile. Wherever revolutionary forces are organized, fascism tries to crush them.”
But they call to no surrender, to remember that fascism was defeated in the past and it will be defeated in the current time. “We must strengthen our collectives, unions, anti-fascist and revolutionary organizations! We should defend ourselves! We must be ready, united and organized in order to not allow the far right to dictate laws! Do they want to turn Paris into a fascist city? They will never succeed! Paris is red! Paris is anti-fascist! Paris belongs to workers, rebels and revolutionaries!”
They end the speech with the following slogans:
