Actions Against Eurovision Song Contest Carried Out in Austria

This years Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) is being held in Vienna, Austria. Broad mobilizations have taken place against the participation of Israel in the competition, who is using the competition for the normalization of their crimes against the Palestinian people, and war of aggression against Lebanon.
Die Rote Fahne of Austria reports of an action carried out in Innsbruck, where a banner reading “NO ESC 2026” was dropped from the Golden Roof balcony, smoke flares were lit and a banner celebrating the founding of the International Anti-Imperialist League was unfurled. On the occasion, Palestine Initiative Tirol published a statement along with pictures and video of the action, which we include below:
Die Rote Fahne also reported that a demonstration was called in Vienna, on the day of the ESC.
