Finland: Demonstration on the International Day of the Detained-Disappeared, August 30.
We hereby share an unofficial translation of a report on actions by Anti-Imperialist Collective for the International Day of the Detained-Disappeared shared by Punalippu.
On Saturday, August 30, we organized a protest in Helsinki against the bloody repression of the Mexican people and their democratic and revolutionary movement by the old Mexican State. Countless democratic, feminist, and anti-imperialist activists have been forcefuly disappeared, including trade union activists and public defenders such as Dr. Ernesto Sernas García.
The demonstration attracted a lot of attention and discussion. Two fiery speeches and chants were heard at the demonstration, fully supporting the legitimate demands raised by the Current of the People Red Sun. We will also publish a video of the demonstration soon.
