Several actions have been reported following the call from Anti-imperialist League (AIL), which marked February 3rd as the International Day of Action, marking one month since the imperialist aggression against Venezuela.

In Brazil, various demonstrations took place, including one in Rio de Janeiro. The demonstration brought together dozens of democratic organizations, including the AIL. Slogans such as “Latin America is our land, Yankees out of Venezuela! Long live the Venezuelan militias!” could be heard. The demonstration began with a representation of the Bolivarian Militias expelling “Uncle Sam” from Venezuela. Afterwards, the march continued to the Yankee consulate, where State repression tried to prevent them from arriving but failed. Once there, the flags of the US and Israel were burned.

In Recife, a call for a demonstration was made to all “activists, democrats, and revolutionaries” against the aggression in Venezuela, but also for the liberation of the student Mateus Galdino, a political prisoner of the anti-imperialist struggle, and for justice for those who were shot by the Military Police in the same city, as previously reported.
