29 Maoists who became immortal were honoured in Austria

On 26 April, Partizan and activists and revolutionaries from Austria held a rally in front of the Indian consulate in the Austrian capital Vienna for the 29 Maoists who were murdered by the fascist Indian state in India on 16 April.
On 16 April, 29 Maoists died in a clash between the fascist Indian army and PLGA militants in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, India. After the clash, unarmed Maoists were shot and massacred. Partizan and activists and revolutionaries from Austria held a rally in front of the Indian Consulate in Vienna to protest against the operations of the fascist Indian state and to commemorate the 29 immortalised Maoists.
The German statement said: “On 16 April, there was a serious clash between the guerrillas of the People’s Liberation Army (PLGA) of the Communist Party of India (Maoist) and the fascist Indian army in the district of Kanker in Chhattisgarh. In the process, 29 Maoist guerrilla fighters were immortalised. We remember the immortalised people’s fighters with honourable respect, we salute the people’s war under the leadership of the CPI (Maoist) and the 29 fighters of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) who put up heroic resistance and became immortal”.
“THE FIGHTERS OF THE PEOPLE WILL DEFEAT THEIR ENEMIES”
“The high price paid by those who became immortal in the struggle between the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army and the forces of the fascist Indian state on 16 April 2024 shows us that the fascist Indian state will not be able to achieve its goals this time, as in previous waves of counter-revolutionary operations. The fighters of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army waging the people’s war under the leadership of the CPI (Maoist) and the oppressed and poor masses of the region will defeat this wave of fascist terror at any cost.”
Finally, it protested against the operations of the fascist Indian state and called for support for the people’s war in India: “We strongly condemn the fascist terror operations of the fascist Indian state against the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army fighting under the leadership of the CPI (Maoist) and against the peoples of the region. We call upon the revolutionary and progressive public to support them”.
The declaration ended with international slogans.

In memory of the 16 fighters of the CPI (Maoist) – People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army, who were murdered by the fascist Indian state on 29 April, banners with the inscription “The fighters of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) are immortal” were put up in Zurich and Geneva.
