More Protests Against the NATO Summit in Ankara

After the arrest of three members of Revolutionary Youth Associations in Izmir, Turkey on July 5th, a protest was carried out outside the Izmir Courthouse.

In Istanbul, lawyers protested outside the Çağlayan courthouse against the arrest of ÇHD Istanbul Branch President Attorney Ezgi Önalan and Attorney Yunusemre Işık, who were both arrested as part of the 33 detained in house raids in Istanbul carried out on the 5th of July, ahead of the NATO summit to be held in Ankara.

In Greece, demonstrations where the KKE (m-l) participated were carried out on the 7th of July in Xanthi and Heraklion.
