India – Call for Tribute to the Martyrs in Hyderabad

On Saturday, the 18th of July at 14:00 Sundarayya Vignana Kendra, Katragadda Hall, Hyderabad, 24th Meeting of the Martyrs’ Relatives’ Association will take place, Avani News reports. The event will last from 14:00 to 21:00, and there will be a book presentation, cultural program from Virasam (Revolutionary Writers’ Association) and other organizations.

The call remembers the martyrs who have passed away since last July: “Modem Balakrishna, Chandravasu, Jadi Venkati, Kadari Satyanarayana Reddy, Katha Ramachandra Reddy, Hidma, Raje, along with four other tribal heroes, Padkal Swamy, Paka Hanumanthu, Rangaboyna Bhagya, Metturi Jogarao (Tech Shankar), and the immortal tribal and non-tribal heroes who have passed away in various states.” It highlights that they were “not only respected. They were great people who gave their lives for the poor. They inspired us. Their death is a source of sorrow for us. But it is a source of pride”.

The organizers of the event call to remember the memories of the martyrs.
