The State Campaign Against Operation Kagaar and the Genocide Against the Adivasi People carried out an event in Badajoz, the Spanish State, were the ongoing Agrarian Revolution in India, as well as the Indian semi-colonial and semi-feudal reality were explained. The origin and trajectory of the struggle for land was explained, emphasizing the peasant-revolutionary struggles of Naxalbari (1967), which marked a turning point in the struggles of the Indian people. Regarding the present, it was explained that “the ongoing agrarian revolution is a process that goes beyond the seizure, redistribution, and/or collectivization of land; rather, poor peasants are expelling the authorities of Modi’s fascist Hindutva government and establishing their own popular government, their own worker-peasant government. Additionally, the peasant struggle liberates women from feudal tradition and the caste system promoted by big landlords.”
The genocide carried out by the old Indian State was denounced, and afterwards a discussion among the attendee took place. There were comparatives between India and Palestine, denounces to the meeting between the Spanish and the Indian government, and also experiences of the struggle for land in the Spanish countryside were shared.
