A student organized by the Revolutionary Student Commission (RSC) of Kenya was kidnapped by State forces during a demonstration commemorating the murdered protesters who fell to State repression on the 25th of June, 2024.

The demonstration in question was called to commemorate the 80 people murdered by the State in a demonstration organized against the rise in taxes in 2024, and mobilized many organizations and individuals who displayed their rage against the State repression.

As the demonstrators struggled against the State repressive forces, tear gas was fired into the crowd.

Revolutionary Student Commission (RSC) has denounced this kidnapping and are demanding the immediate release of the activist.
