Global Day of action: Support the Philippine revolution until liberation! – Reports
We have reported on the international day of action in support of the People’s War on the Philippines, which took place yesterday, August 26. Now some reports have been published:
In Mexico, following the FFPS’ call, a solidarity event was held in Oaxaca’s main square.
In the Spanish State the Revolutionary Committees of Madrid and Albacete have carried out several supportive actions for the People’s War on the Philippines.

At different places in Berlin posters and dazibaos were put up:

In the working class neighborhood Schönefeld in Leipzig, Saxony, graffiti were done, a dazibao and posters were put up:
In England anti-imperialist activists in London demonstrated their support of the struggle of the Filipino people:

The Friends of the Filipino People in Struggle (FFPS) issued a report on actions done:
“In the United States, members of FFPS in Baltimore, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Orange County held coordinated educational discussions and militant demonstrations in support of the Filipino revolutionary struggle. As a direct challenge to the U.S. the members reiterated the call “We support the Filipino aspiration: National Liberation against U.S. imperialism!” and launched two new FFPS groups, Tanod Lupa and Guerrero.
In Canada, FFPS Vancouver and CPSO Toronto held educational get-togethers to discuss how to support the National Democratic Front (NDF) and its vision for a revolutionary future, and mass postering actions.
In Europe, various FFPS member organizations held demonstrations and propaganda actions in various cities in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Denmark, Greece, Austria and the UK in support of the Filipino people in struggle. These actions targeted Europe’s complicity in U.S. imperialist domination in the Philippines, as well as building links of solidarity with the peoples of Europe in support of the Filipino basic masses.
In Asia Pacific, newly constituted FFPS groups in Asia and Australia, together with members in New Zealand held coordinated propaganda efforts to expose and oppose U.S. imperialist aggression in the region and bring the issue of the Philippines to the spotlight.”
